Learning how to write a good blog comment.

We are learning how to make a quality blog comment.

This was my comment: Hello I’m a student of Waitara High School and I am also learning manaiakalani, I really like the colours you used and mixed together, I feel like I have seen that sky before. I’d recommend adding some more light colours like green or purple but I enjoyed looking at your work and guessing how it was made, did you find it hard to do?

There are five parts of a comment that makes it a good one, These are: Greeting, Positive, Helpful, Thoughtful and a question. I have highlighted where these are in my own comment.

The greeting is yellow, Positive is green,  Helpful is blue, Thoughtful is pink, Red is the question.

Ugly Goblin Shark - Polyline

WALT: Learn how to write a quality blogpost

We also were learning how to use the polyline tool in google drawing to make cartoon versions of images.

I decided to use the image of a goblin shark to cartoonify.

It was extremely difficult to use the tool as you couldn't make curves with it. It was difficult to find the correct colours as well but I tried a few times and decided on this colour. ( Actual goblin sharks are a kind of purple )

Firemans' last day

We have been learning how to make an animation to then learn how to put onto it our blog.

We have learned this because it will be a useful skill in later school years

I think the idea of my animation was a good one and I think I executed it well, If I had to change anything I'd put more detail into it so the overall animation flowed better.

Business dude drawing.

We were learning how to create a character on google drawings using PNG images and the shape tools.

I created this person using PNG images for his hair and hat, using the shape tool to create everything else. If I had more time I would have detailed the shirt and shoes. I would have added detail on the suitcase and put him in a more challenging pose to create. I did have a problem with the hair and hat so I took the easy way and chose to use PNG images for it instead of wasting the majority of the time on those aspects.
